This Lucien Gelas has no label and as probably is known, there were several companies that produced this guitar. The guitar has been refinished and received a new back made out of solid maple. Therefore we had the chance to inspect all the glue work and made it possible to make the inserts necessary. A newly added ebony bridge, provided with 12 holes has been placed in a way that the octave pitch is perfect for all the strings. Newly fretted fingerboard. The tuners are original except for the tuner for the high E string that works in a reverse direction. Originally there was a string holder at the bottom of this guitar and that can be used again of course. Nice playing action. Still a piece that is desirable in a guitar collection. At a very affordable price.
