Chitarra Domingo Esteso 1931

Chitarra costruita a Madrid da Domingo Esteso nel 1931. Si tratta di un liutaio di grande rilievo nella scuola spagnola di inizio ‘900. Allievo di Manuel Ramirez, prese da questi il testimone assieme a Santos Hernandez noto anche per essere stato il costruttore della prima chitarra suonata da Andrès Segovia. Lo strumento è stato restaurato, con un’opera non troppo impegnativa viste le ottime condizioni in cui si trovava, da un liutaio italiano di grande competenza ed esperienza.

Guitar made in Madrid by Domingo Esteso in 1931. He’s a very important guitar maker in the Spanish school of the early 1900s. Pupil of Manuel Ramirez, Esteso continued his work together with Santos Hernandez, known also for being the luthier who made the first guitar played by Andrès Segovia. The instrumenti was restored, with a not too demanding work considering the excellent conditions it was in, by an Italian luthier with great competenze and experience.
