Hermann Hauser ® II was born in 1911 and from 1930 worked in the same workshop as his father Hermann Hauser ® I. He took over the management of the workshop in 1952 and ran the company until 1983.  Julian Bream, one of the most popular guitarists of the last century, played a guitar built by Hermann Hauser ® II in 1957.

This superb guitar bearing the serial number 766. The instrument is in excellent condition with only a small very well repaired crack on the top. Its sound is rich and elegant with an immense palette of colours. Hermann Hauser ® II’s guitars are legendary and this one is an excellent example of why these instruments are so loved by guitarists around the world.
